Email and Troop 439 Talk
If you are an admin email may be required to provide to email so passwords can be recovered if they are lost. If you have a Troop 439 Talk account email is required to make sure the accounts are not used for distributing spam or running harmful programs used to disrupt the fourm or cause harm. If you post a message on the fourm your username will be visible, however only users with approved accounts can acess the fourm. Internet Protocol Adresses can be viewed on Troop 439 Talk account user pages and can be viewed by users with approved accounts. Please note that IP adresses cannot be traced an specific person. The admins will not post youth email adresses unless a person who wishes to have the email posted asks an admin. Scout rosters are not currently posted on the troop439md.net the admins have no intenion to do so. Calenders will be posted on the site and may or may not have members of the Senior Patrol or certain patrol on the Calender. If you wish to have your name taken of of a Calender please talk to the Scoutmaster, beacause the Scribes cannot edit Calenders or Rosters.
Editing Logs
Logs are kept of the edits made on troop439md.net and can be viewed by anyone. However, logs only record usernames not I.P. Adresses. Logs are kept to monitor vandals and to monitor activity on troop439md.net.
Cookies
If you wish to log in to troop439md.net with an admin account, you must enable cookies.
Regarding the Event System:
You will be required to post semi-personal information on the event system, you need to post your first name and last initial if for some reason you posted something you want removed please contact an admin. Also if someone is posting as you who is not you please contact an admin and we can look into it.
Other Collection Of Internet Address Data
When you visit the site your IP address is recorded, as earlier stated, however troop 439 is not the only entity that records this data. Our nameservers and our webhost also stores this information.
PHP Hyper Processor Data
The PHP system may also make session data on the server in reference to your IP address. However this data is not really human readable so don't worry.
Troop 439 Development Projects Privacy Policy
Troop 439 Development projects keep very descriptive logs about user usage information so if you are using a project please be aware of this. These projects include my. util. devcon. and the Development ERS build.
